Texas-based Padre’s Wine Company also named to curated tenant lineup
FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS (July 28, 2025) – Houston-based real estate investment and development firm DC Partners is proud to announce the first two tenants at The Meuse, its highly anticipated mixed-use destination in the Texas Hill Country: Lucchese Bootmaker and Padre’s Wine Company.
“We could not ask for a stronger start to our tenant lineup,” said Blake Berg, Senior Vice President of Development and Construction at DC Partners. “Lucchese and Padre’s each reflect what The Meuse is all about—heritage, quality, and experiences that are both elevated and deeply rooted in Texas culture.”
Founded in 1883 outside of San Antonio by Italian immigrant Salvatore Lucchese, Lucchese Bootmaker has spent over 140 years mastering the art of handcrafted cowboy boots and western wear. The brand, synonymous with Texas legacy and luxury craftsmanship, has outfitted American icons from presidents to celebrities to cowboys who settled the West.
“Lucchese has always been deeply committed to strengthening our ties and reach in Texas, and The Meuse allows Lucchese to further expand our footprint in an elevated and inspiring way,” said Angela Hahn, Vice President of Retail Operations for Lucchese. “We’re proud to bring our craftsmanship and heritage to Fredericksburg through a space that reflects the beauty of the Hill Country and the timeless values our brand was built on.”
Lucchese’s new 3,400-square-foot retail location at The Meuse will offer a bespoke shopping experience, where guests can explore handcrafted boots, apparel, and accessories in a setting that reflects the spirit of the Hill Country and the sophistication of the Lucchese legacy.
Joining Lucchese at The Meuse is Padre’s Wine Company, a Texas-based wine concept inspired by founder William Farley’s father, Mike Farley, affectionately known as “Padre” to all who knew him. The 3,000-square-foot space will offer wine retail in the front and a relaxing, elevated food-and-beverage experience and wine patio in the back.
“Growing up, I spent summers with my family in the Hill Country and it is an honor to bring Padre’s to Fredericksburg, the home to countless great family memories,” said Willam Farley. “Rooted in values of sustainability, family, and joie de vivre, the Padre’s experience is as much about people and storytelling as it is about great wine.”
“Our partnership with Lucchese reflects our commitment to bringing authentic, timeless, and elevated experiences to Fredericksburg and this district,” said Wade Greene of Colliers. “With the addition of Padre’s Wine Company, we’re reinforcing our mission to create a destination that celebrates the best of Texas—its traditions, talent, and taste.”
Located at the corner of US 290 and Main Street, The Meuse is a 22-acre, thoughtfully designed luxury development set to redefine the Fredericksburg experience. Anchored by a Kimpton-branded boutique hotel, resort-style amenities, and an elegant event venue, the project’s 73,200-square-foot retail district will feature a collection of curated shops, artisan markets, and chef-driven dining experiences—all surrounding the historic 1800s Klingelhoeffer House. More tenants to be announced soon.
Construction is underway, with the full retail and hotel development slated for completion in late 2027.
Retail leasing is led by Colliers Houston, Wade Greene and Hannah Schiro.
