Sneak Peek: Sleek hotel and condo building to be built in downtown San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for next week to begin construction on a new high-rise that will include dozens of residences and more than 150 hotel rooms.

The Arts Residences and Thompson San Antonio will be built at the corner of North St. Mary’s Street and Lexington Avenue, along the River Walk and across from the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Artist renderings show an impressive and elegant facade; the hotel rooms feature upscale fixtures and plush accomodations.


The Arts Residences Racks Up Lightning Fast Sales in First Four Months

Houston-based developer DC Partners announced they have sold 30 percent of the condominium homes in The Arts Residences at the Thompson San Antonio Hotel since opening the sales gallery on May 11, making it one of the fastest-selling high-rise luxury condominium project in Texas. Located on the San Antonio River Walk, the $116 million, 20-level mixed-use hotel condominium tower atop San Antonio’s first Thompson Hotel is bringing much-sought-after luxury living accommodations to downtown San Antonio’s Arts District.


New Luxury Mixed-Use Development Renderings

The development team behind a future mixed-use project on Allen Parkway near downtown has released renderings of the project.

Houston-based DC Partners and Tianqing Real Estate Development LLC — the U.S. subsidiary of Tianqing Group Real Estate Co. Ltd., one of the largest real estate developers in China — teamed up to develop the $500 million-plus project last year. Architecture firm HOK designed the development, according to an April 25 press release.
