DC Partners and Satterfield & Pontikes Construction mark progress
on luxury Hill Country destination
FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS (June 15, 2026) – Houston-based real estate investment and development firm DC Partners, in partnership with general contractor Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, announces the topping out of the Kimpton Fredericksburg Hotel, marking a major construction milestone for The Meuse, the highly anticipated 22-acre luxury mixed-use destination in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.

The 210-room Kimpton, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ fast-growing luxury and lifestyle portfolio, is designed by Dallas-based Merriman Anderson Architects with interiors by Curioso and will offer expansive experiences rooted in the charm and character of the region.

The hotel will also offer over 18,500 square feet of indoor/outdoor flexible event space, including an event barn, pre-function spaces, meeting rooms, a rooftop lounge and outdoor gathering areas. Distinctive dining options will include a full-service restaurant and bar, along with a poolside bar and lounge. Additional amenities will feature a 10,000-square-foot resort-style outdoor pool and deck, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a café with thoughtful takeaways.
Part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, Kimpton Fredericksburg will mark the brand’s fourth location in Texas and its first in the Texas Hill Country.
Upon completion in 2027, Kimpton Fredericksburg will become the region’s first luxury lifestyle hotel to combine large-format accommodations, elevated event capabilities, and curated retail and dining experiences in one destination, creating a vibrant gathering place for travelers, celebrations, retreats, and the local community alike.
Surrounding the hotel, The Meuse’s 73,200-square-foot retail district will offer a curated collection of boutique retailers, artisan markets, tasting rooms, and chef-driven dining concepts designed as a walkable, town-like district centered around the historic Klingelhoeffer House. Current tenants include Double D Ranch, Fischer & Wieser, Jackson Ballard Art, Lucchese Bootmaker, and Padre’s Wine Company, further strengthening The Meuse’s vision as a destination rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship, and the cultural fabric of Fredericksburg.
